Biographical Information[edit]
Jack Kull, from Pennsylvania, pitched one game (and got the win) on the last day of the 1909 season for the Philadelphia Athletics. He had previously gone 7-2 for Fayetteville that year. After 1909 he pitched several more years in the minors.
He is the only player (through 2008) with the last name Kull, and there is no former player with the first name "Kull". However, Jules Kustus, who was also sometimes called "Kul", also had his only major league season in 1909.
