Biographical Information[edit]
Jack Faszholz pitched for the Rochester Red Wings from 1950 to 1956, winning 80 games during that span. He was 18-9 with a 3.21 ERA for the club in 1954. He also appeared in the majors with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1953, playing in 4 games.
Faszholz coached Concordia College for 12 seasons.
His brothers, David Faszholz and Eugene Faszholz, played in the minor leagues. Another brother, Dick, played basketball for the United States national team while another, Tom, was drafted by the NBA's St. Louis Hawks.
