Biographical Information

Jack Cressend made 122 appearances in the big leagues between the Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Indians. In 160 2/3 innings over the period of 2000 to 2004, he was 5-5, 4.20. He later was an area scout for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays from 2006 to 2008 before returning to his alma mater as assistant coach at Tulane in 2009. After time at Houston and a return to the Rays organization from 2012 to 2014, he was hired in November 2014 as a crosschecker for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
