Biographical Information[edit]
J.R. Perdew was the pitching coach for Allegany College (1990-1996) before become a coach in the pro ranks. He was a Marine.
Perdew was a coach for the Bristol Sox (1997-98), Burlington (IA) Bees (1999-2000), Kannapolis Intimidators (2001, 2005) and Winston-Salem Warthogs (2002-04; 2006-07), Birmingham Barons (2008-2011), Winston-Salem Dash in 2012-2015 and Birmingham again in 2016.
