Jürgen Brandt
Jürgen Brandt played for the German national team three times. He was 0 for 3 when they won Bronze in the 1958 European Championship and handled two putouts. In the 1965 European Championship, he hit .308/.308/.385 with four RBI in four games, with one assist and no putouts. Only Hans Grünzinger had a better average, slugging or OPS for Germany while Brandt led Germany in RBI, one ahead of Claus Helmig. They won Bronze that year as well. He was 1 for 12 in the 1967 European Championship with two walks, three runs and a hit-by-pitch; he had four putouts and two assists, again with no errors. Germany won yet another Bronze. He hit .179/.258/.214 in his 11 games for Germany.
