Biographical Information[edit]
Isao Fukuda was a catcher who represented Japan in the 1975 Asian Championship. The Chunichi Dragons drafted Fukuda in the 5th round of 1975 NPB draft. He never played any games with the big club, then announced his retirement after the 1982 season. He was a coach for the Dragons from 1990 to 2002, then coached the Yokohama BayStars from 2003 to 2005.
