Biographical Information[edit]
When he made his debut for the Seattle Mariners on July 7, 2023, Isiah Campbell became only the second Major League Baseball player born in Portugal and the first since Frank Thompson played 12 games in the National Association in 1875. He went 4-1, 2.83 with 1 save in 27 games in his rookie season. On November 17th, he was traded to the Boston Red Sox for infielder Luis Urias.
