Biographical Information

Irvin del Rio debuted in the 2011-2012 Serie Nacional with Villa Clara, going 1-2 with 4 saves and a 3.56 ERA. He was 2-3 with two saves and a 4.15 ERA in 2012-2013. As a starter in 2013-2014, he posted a 2-3, 4.06 record. He allowed three runs in three innings in the 2014 Caribbean Series, giving up a Ronny Paulino double, Emilio Bonifacio walk and Julio Lugo homer in succession.
