Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Irvin Tassin played in the minor leagues from 1948 to 1952. He began his career with a 10-7, 4.94 line his first year and improved to 15-10, 3.21 the next. He spent both years with the Houma Indians. His performance enticed the Springfield Browns to take him in the 1949 Rule V Draft, though he never played for the club. Instead he went to the Wichita Falls Spudders, going 17-6, 3.57 in 1950; in 1951, he went 14-7 between two clubs. After a down 1952, his career was over. He went 63-36 overall.
