Biographical Information

Ikushi Yamanouchi and Kenzo Hirose were the co-author of Japan's Official Baseball Rule Book in 1940. In 1942, he was named the official scorer for the Japanese Professional Baseball League, and in 1952, Ikushi became the head statistician for the Pacific League.

Yamanouchi was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985.
