Biographical Information

Ike Hampton was mostly a catcher with 91 big league career games behind the plate. He also had 3 games at shortstop, 3 at first base, and 1 at third base. Very few players play catcher and shortstop in the same season.

Ike had nine seasons in the minors. Parts of four years were with the Salt Lake City Gulls. He also had one year in Japan.
