The little lefty had a huge campaign in 2007-2008, going 10-2 with a 2.37 ERA for the Industriales. He was 4th in the league in winning percentage and 4th in ERA behind only Jonder Martínez, Yosvani Pérez and Yulieski González.

He nearly blew it for them; down 3 games to 2, he got the call for game six and was rocked for three runs in one inning but his bullpen gave up just two more and the Industriales rallied to take the game and later the series. He was 9-8 with a 5.22 ERA in 2010-2011, finishing among the league leaders in starts (20, tied for 5th), wins (tied for 8th), losses (tied for 9th) and wild pitches (8, tied for 5th).
