Biographical Information

Hyung-sik Jung has played in the Korea Baseball Organization.

Jung debuted with one game for the 2009 Samsung Lions but did not bat, then was 0 for 2 in 2010. In 2011, he hit .230/.337/.311 in 88 plate appearances over 52 games. In the 2011 Asia Series finale, his 2-run single off Sho Iwasaki put Samsung ahead for good, 2-1. They would win, 5-1, the first Korean team to win an Asia Series.
