Biographical Information

Hyun Jung has been an infielder in the Korea Baseball Organization.

The Samsung Lions' top pick in the 2012 draft, he was 4 for 21 with a double and home run in eight games as a rookie in 2013. In game 5 of the 2013 Korean Series, he entered late in the game and drove in the lone Samsung run in a 2-1 loss to the Doosan Bears; facing Jae-hoon Jung, he hit a sacrifice fly to score Hyung-woo Choi.
