Husain Mahmoud was 8-42 as head coach of Chicago State University in 2008, but lost his job due to lying on his resume as much as due to poor performance. He had claimed he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds, that he held a national punting record and that he was a quarterback in the Continental Football League, none of which were true.
