Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Hunter Lockwood began his professional career in 2013.

He was originally taken by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 17th round of the 2011 amateur draft, but opted not to sign. He was then taken by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 11th round of the 2013 amateur draft and did ink a contract.

With the Princeton Rays in 2013, Lockwood hit .243/.295/.451 with 9 home runs and 34 RBI in 64 games. He hit .266/.313/.494 with 13 home runs and 46 RBI in 70 games for the Hudson Valley Renegades in 2014, striking out 98 times in 271 at-bats. He began 2015 with the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
