Biographical Information

Hung-Yi Huang played in the CPBL.

Huang was selected by the CTBC Brothers in the 5th round of the 2019 CPBL Draft, and he went 1-2 with a 12.05 ERA in 2020. He was 4-1 with a 4.06 ERA in the minors in 2021, but he slumped to 0-2 with a 8.23 ERA in 2022. He debuted against the Wei Chuan Dragons on May 31, and he ended up having a 0-2 with a 4.23 ERA in 31 relief outings in the minors in 2023.

Huang’s repertoire includes a fastball (peak 95.1 mph) and slider.
