Biographical Information

Outfielder Hugh Walker was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the first round of the 1988 amateur draft.

After his playing career, Walker was the head coach at Nettleton High School for seven seasons and a hitting instructor for the Royals chain in 2001.

Walker became a scout for the San Francisco Giants in 2008. He signed Brett Bochy, Conor Gillaspie, Tommy Joseph, Mike Kickham and Jack Snodgrass.
