Biographical Information[edit]

Huei-Sheng Lin pitched in the minor leagues and the CPBL.

Lin was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2019 with a $300,000 signing bonus. He was 2-4 with a 7.31 ERA for the AZL Dodgers Mota in his first year as a professional player. After the coronavirus shut down the minor leagues in 2020, Lin pitched 11 games for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes in 2021 but his ERA was 5.50. He stayed with the Quakes in 2022, and he was 1-2 with a 5.71 ERA. The Dodgers released him after the 2022 season, and he announced that he would come back to his native Taiwan. He also pitched for the Auckland Tuatara in the 2022-2023 ABL, and his ERA was 5.40 in 8 games.

The CTBC Brothers selected him in the first round of the 2023 CPBL Draft, and he was 3-2 with a 4.66 ERA in the CPBL minor league in 2023. He made his CPBL debut on October 23 against the Uni-President Lions, and he collected a hold with a shutout inning.

Lin's repertoire includes a fastball (peak 95.6 mph) and forkball.
