Biographical Information

Hsien-Ming Tian played in the CPBL for 2 years.

Tian represented Taiwan in the 1993 World Youth Championship, 1996 World Junior Championship, 1997 World Port Tournament and 2004 Haarlem Baseball Week. He was drafted by the Brother Elephants in the 3rd round of the 2005 CPBL Draft, and he hit .217/.321/.246 in 2006. Due to a left hand injury, Tian was turned into a pitcher in 2007, and he had a 8.49 ERA in 9 relief outings. He was then involved in a game-fixing scandal, and he was banned for life.
