Biographical information[edit]
Howard McCormick was a minor league catcher who managed the Hutchinson Elks for a portion of the 1949 season.
McCormick played in 1942, from 1946 to 1949 and in 1951. He was not a high-average hitter throughout his six-year career.
He managed the Elks in 1949, replacing Russ Sehon on May 24th and was replaced by Burl Storie on May 30th.
He served in World War II.
