Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Burl Storie played minor league baseball from 1938 to 1956, missing the 1942-1945 seasons. He topped out in 1946-1950, spending time in both the Texas League and Southern Association. From 1951 to 1953, his average increased each year from .304 to .309 to .330.
He served in World War II.
