Biographical Information[edit]
Horace Hendrickson was a three-sport athlete at Duke (football, baseball, basketball). He coached Elon University from 1938-1941, guiding Ed Sauer and Ted Abernathy. He then was head coach of the University of Pennsylvania from 1944-1948, his products including Tom Upton and Jerry McCarthy. He also coached basketball and football at several schools.
