Home Run Cycle

From BR Bullpen

A Home Run Cycle occurs when a batter hits every type of Home Run (1-Run, 2-Run, 3-Run, Grand Slam) in one game. Although it has never happened in the Majors, Tyrone Horne of the AA Arkansas Travelers had one on July 27th, 1998, in San Antonio, TX. His feat was matched on August 10, 2022 by Chandler Redmond of the Springfield Cardinals in Amarillo, TX.

It is the rarest of all Cycles as it requires not only a four-home run game, something extremely scarce, but four Plate appearances with men on base in a specific pattern. One also cannot decline one of the Runs scored on a homer to complete the Cycle, like with a standard cycle, or Quasi-Cycle.
