Biographical Information

Hoi-chan Jeong pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization.

Jeong represented South Korea in the 2009 Asian Championship. The Nexen Heroes selected him in the 2nd round of the 2010 KBO draft, and he pitched 2 shutout innings in 2011. He then missed the next two seasons due to military service, and he allowed a run in an inning with the big club in 2015 after spending the entire 2014 season in the minors. Jeong recorded a 6.52 ERA in 11 appearances in 2016, then the Heroes released him.
