Biographical Information

Hing-Long Yip hit .273/.304/.318 for Hong Kong in the 2009 World Youth Championship. He was an infielder for the Hong Kong national team in the 2013 East Asian Games. The teenager got one of their two hits in the 2014 Asian Games against Silver Medalist Taiwan and finished 2 for 7 with a walk, run and two steals while handling 10 chances error-free at 2B (5 PO, 5 A). He tied for 2nd in the event in swipes, two behind Muhammad Sumair Zawar.
