Biographical Information[edit]
Hilario Pacheco was an outfielder with the Venezuelan national team in the 1979 Pan American Games and 1980 Amateur World Series. In his pro debut, he was 3 for 10 for the 1982-1983 Tiburones de La Guaira. He played for the Nashua Angels in 1983, going 1 for 16 with four walks, six whiffs and a steal while registering three putouts. Pacheco was 6 for 19 with a double, run and four RBI for La Guaira in 1983-1984 but slipped to 1-for-10 in 1984-1985 to finish his Venezuelan League career at .256 in 39 at-bats.
