Biographical Information

Herbert Alban played for the Portsmouth Red Birds and Fostoria Red Birds in the St. Louis Cardinals system in 1940, hitting .215 with a home run and 3 triples in 68 games for Fostoria. He died at 102 years old in 2020.

He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific theatre during World War II.
