Biographical Information

Henry Oberbeck was a busy guy in 1883 and 1884, playing for four major league teams in two leagues. He had 28 games in right field, 23 at third base, 8 at pitcher, 7 in left field, 5 at first base and 4 in center field.

He also managed to fit in some games with Peoria in 1883. He umpired three games in the Union Association in 1884.

Sporting Life sometimes misspelled his name Overbeck. He was said to be with Youngstown in 1885.
