Henk Lukkien
Biographical Information[edit]
Henk Lukkien was an outfielder and backup catcher for Schoten in Haarlem. He played for the Dutch national team in the 1956 European Championship, helping them win the title; he started in left in the opener and went 2 for 5 against Italy. He also was with them for the 1956 Global World Series, 1957 European Championship (another title), 1957 Global World Series and the 1958 European Championship (a third in a row), as he started in left every game in 1957-1958. He won four Dutch championships with Schoten.
