Biographical Information

Heng-Hsiao Kuo pitched in the CPBL for 6 years.

Kuo was drafted by the Uni-President Lions in the 8th round of the 2015 CPBL Draft, and he had a 5.89 ERA in 39 relief outings in 2016. He led the minor league with 32 games pitched in 2017, but his ERA was 6.58. He only pitched 5 games with the big club in 2017, and he had 3 appearances in 2018. Kuo’s ERA was 9.00 in 2019, and he allowed 7 runs in 2 2/3 innings in 2020. He announced his retirement after the 2020 season.

Kuo's repertoire included a fastball (peak 88.8 mph), curveball and slider.

Overall, Kuo was 2-4 with a 7.88 ERA ,pitched 64 innings and struck out 37 in 6 seasons in the CPBL.
