Biographical Information[edit]
Heinie Scheer was in 120 games for the 1922 and 1923 Philadelphia Athletics. He also played for a variety of teams in the minors between 1921 and 1929. A second and third baseman, he backed up Ralph Young and Jimmie Dykes on the A's.
The only other major leaguer (through 2008) with the last name Scheer is Al Scheer.
