Biographical Information[edit]
Al Scheer played briefly in the 1913 National League and then became a regular in the Federal League in 1914-15.
Scheer hit .306 in 1914 and then followed up in 1915 with 31 stolen bases and 14 triples.
In 1913 with Brooklyn he got into six games in right field, while the young Casey Stengel was the regular center fielder.
He was with Toledo in 1916.
