Biographical Information[edit]
Ducky Swan pitched an inning for the Kansas City Packers of the Federal League in 1914, a team managed by George Stovall. He gave up no runs.
Swan had pitched a no-hitter for the Beaumont Oilers of the Texas League in 1913 (source: MiLB.com). There were also references in Sporting Life to Swan being expected to pitch for Beaumont in 1914 and 1915. He also managed the team in 1915.
TheDeadBallEra.com lists him as dying of a heart attack at age 57.
