Biographical Information[edit]
Harry Pattee was a star at Brown University (appearing at shortstop two years), played in the minors and majors, and then came back to coach at Brown from 1912-1921, posting a record of 117-42-1.
His one year in the majors was as the regular second baseman for the 1908 Brooklyn Superbas. He hit .216 but the team average was .213. Pattee led the team with 24 stolen bases. One site [[1]] states that he stole 60 bases in the minors in 1907, and that got him to the majors.
