Harry Koster was one of the top pitchers in Neptunus club history. He went 94-31 from 1982 through 1997 and struck out 1,070 in 196 games pitched. In 1987, he was the Hoofdklasse Pitcher of the Year. He led Hoofdklasse with 198 strikeouts that year, a Neptunus team record through 2006. He also holds the career club strikeout record through 2006. Koster His number 14 was later retired by the team in 1998 and honored in a ceremony in 2007 in which it was placed on the wall of DOOR Neptunus Familiestadion. He also played in 24 games for the Dutch national team. In the 1988 Baseball World Cup, Koster was 1-1 with a 7.45 ERA. He pitched for the Netherlands in the 1987 European Championship (Gold Medal), 1988 Olympics, 1989 European Championship (Silver) and 1991 European Championship (Silver). During the 1994 Baseball World Cup, Harry went 0-1 with a 4.38 ERA.
