Biographical Information[edit]

The site www.baseballlibrary.com says that on August 13, 1913, Harry Hedgpeth pitched both games of a minor league doubleheader, throwing a one-hitter followed by a no-hitter. Later that year he pitched one game in the majors.

Hedgpeth spent most of his minor league career with the Petersburg Goobers. The career was relatively short because he studied to be a doctor; later, while practicing medicine, he coached a high school baseball team. [1]
