Biographical Information[edit]
Harry Geisel was an American League umpire from 1925 to 1942, working over 2.500 games over 18 seasons. He worked the 1930 World Series, 1934 World Series, 1935 All-Star Game, 1936 World Series and 1938 All-Star Game.
His umpire card indicates he "resumed playing" in the minor leagues in 1910, although he is not listed in the BR Minors database. His professional umpiring career ran from 1910 to 1942.
