Biographical Information[edit]
Harry East was the youngest player (of those whose age is known) in the first year of the American Association. He unfortunately suffered from mental illnesses, as many ballplayers did in his time and he slit his throat with a razor as an inmate at the Alexian Brothers' Hospital in 1905.
