Biographical Information[edit]
Harry Billiard played briefly in the American League and semi-regularly in the ill-fated Federal League. He also was in the minors for eight seasons. Most of his major league appearances were with the the Indianapolis Hoosiers of the 1914 FL, going 8-7 in 32 games for the pennant-winning team.
The book San Antonio at Bat mentions him as a star for the 1910 San Antonio team who, along with Harry Ables, kept the team in contention. Billiard went 16-11 on the bump that season. Sporting Life of Oct. 31, 1914 gave his professional biography, and said he was 5'8" and 165 pounds. His nickname, "Pree", was his middle name.
