In the 2009 Taiwan Series, Lee pitched 2 innings with a run allowed in Game 1, then pitched 1/3 of a shutout inning in Game 2. He surrendered a run in an inning in Game 4. Lee then relieved Chia-Rui Mai in the 16th inning of Game 6, and he pitched 2 shutout innings with 5 Ks. He got the win thanks to Sheng-Wei Wang's game-winning home run in the 17th inning.
