Biographical Information[edit]

Hao-Jen Lee had a brief career in the CPBL.

Lee was drafted by the Brother Elephants in the first round of the 2007 CPBL Draft, and he debuted in 2009. He was selected into the 2009 CPBL All-Star Game as a rookie, and he allowed a run in 2 innings. Lee ended up having a 5.35 ERA in 38 appearances, and he collected 5 saves with a 3-2 record. In the 2009 Taiwan Series, Lee pitched 2 innings with a run allowed in Game 1, then pitched 1/3 of a shutout inning in Game 2. He surrendered a run in an inning in Game 4. Lee then relieved Chia-Rui Mai in the 16th inning of Game 6, and he pitched 2 shutout innings with 5 Ks. He got the win thanks to Sheng-Wei Wang's game-winning home run in the 17th inning. Lee recorded 1 2/3 shutout innings in Game 7, but the Brothers were beaten by the Uni-President Lions. Lee was then involved in a game-fixing scandal, and the league banned him for life.

Lee's repertoire included a fastball (peak 95 mph), cutter, slider and forkball.
