Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Hank Ruszkowski played parts of three seasons in the majors. He was born in Cleveland, died in Cleveland, and played for Cleveland.

He was at the University of Dayton in 1944, played for Wilkes-Barre in 1944, and came up to the majors in September of the same year.

In 1947 three of his seven hits were home runs and as a result his SLG was .667.

He broke in at age 18, and in his last big-league year was still only 21. He played in the minors through 1954.
