Biographical Information

Han-Li Cheng played in the CPBL for 5 years.

Cheng represented Taiwan in the 1993 World Junior Championship. He was drafted by the Brother Elephants in the 4th round of the 2001 CPBL Draft, but he didn't get many chances as the Brothers already had star catchers like Jui-Chang Chen and Yi-Feng Kuo. He only played 14 games combined with the big club in his whole career, and he announced his retirement in 2006. He was the battery coach of the Elephants from 2008 to 2009, and he was named the battery coach for the TSG Hawks in 2022.

Overall, Cheng hit .050/.095/.050 with one hit in 5 seasons in the CPBL.
