Haarlem Baseball Week

Haarlem Baseball Week was an international tournament played at Pim Mulier Stadium in Haarlem. It started in 1961 and was played usually on a biannual basis through 2016. Due to economic problems in the Netherlands, it was announced that the event would not be held any more after 2016. The Dutch Baseball and Softball Federation was able to get enough sponsors, though, that the event was re-instated for 2018, not having missed a session. Past star performers have included Mark Prior, Jose Contreras, Matt Stairs, Yulieski Gourriel, Stephen Strasburg, Bobby Crosby and Kris Bryant.
