Guy Stevens was 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA as a college freshman, with 11 walks to 17 whiffs in 14 innings. His sophomore season, he improved to 2-0, 3.67 with 27 strikeouts to 12 walks in 27 innings. He then joined the Israeli national team for the 2011 European Championship Qualifiers. Starting a game against the British national team, he allowed nine hits, three walks and five runs in 5 1/3 IP, while striking out five. Oddly, Britain had three alumni of Stevens' school - Mike Renery, Alex Smith and Sam Whitehead.
