Biographical Information

Guillermo Carmona went 12 for 53 with two doubles, four walks, three runs and six RBI for the Metropolitanos in 1984-1985; an infielder, he fielded .909 in 23 games. He was later one of their most successful managers, guiding the team to records of 29-36 (1994-1995), 32-32 (1995-1996), 42-23 (1996-1997) and 52-38 (1997-1998). The 1997-1998 season marked the team's all-time best season in terms of wins and their first trip to the playoffs; they went 2-3. He later became manager of the Industriales, going 42-33 in 2020-2021.
