Guido Graziani

Guido Graziani was an Italian baseball pioneer.
Graziani spent some time in the USA. After returning to Italy, he brought love of baseball to his homeland. He worked with the local YMCA to stage a competition in 1920, returned to the USA, then came back to Italy. Josh Chetwynd writes that he and Max Ott are "deservedly credited as the fathers of Italian baseball." He helped found the Italian Softball League in 1948 and served as first vice president for softball of the Italian Baseball and Softball Federation. He was part of the initial class of the Italian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005.
