The brother of Denny Walling, Gregory Walling played for the 1967 Covington Astros. He hit .225 (23 for 102) with two doubles, a triple, 21 walks, 7 steals in 9 tries, 9 runs and 6 RBI in 47 games, his walk rate and steals his big positives. He fielded .947 in the outfield, turning two double plays. It would be his only season in pro ball.
