Biographical Information

Greg MacKoul played at Stony Brook University during the 1997 and 1998 seasons.

Following the 1998 collegiate season, MacKoul was signed at a free-agent camp by the Milwaukee Brewers and was assigned to the Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League. He was 0-1 with a 5.00 ERA, fanning 13 in 9 innings but also walking 13.

After being released, MacKoul earned a roster spot with the Berkshire Black Bears of the Northern League in 2002, going 0-3 with a 7.28 ERA.
