Biographical Information

Grant Psomas was selected by the New York Mets in the 15th round of the 2004 amateur draft and made his pro debut that summer with the Brooklyn Cyclones. Following the 2005 season, he was traded along with Mike Jacobs and Yusmeiro Petit to the New York Mets for Carlos Delgado. He played in the Marlins organization through 2008, briefly reaching the AAA level in his final year. He then spent 2009 with the Washington Wild Things of the independent Frontier League.
